Ferals visit - NSW Catchment Management Authorities (CMA)

summary:
Kevin Guy travels with National Landcare Programme (NLP) NSW State Coordinator, John Dalton.

Feral Arts Environment Manager, Kevin Guy recently traveled with NLP State Coordinator, John Dalton to demonstrate the PlaceStories system to a range of organisations in regional New South Wales (NSW).

Visting the Hawkesbury-Nepean CMA, Central West CMA, Lake Cowal Foundation and the NSW Department of Primary Industries head office in Orange the purpose of this trip was to introduce the system, describe the partnership between NLP, Landcare and Feral Arts and to guage interest in using PlaceStories to present each organisation's project work. The response was very encouraging.

By June 2008 Feral Arts will undertake staff training and pilot projects for both the Hawkesbury-Nepean CMA and Central West CMA with the view of extending this program to another four priority CMAs in NSW. Further discussions will be held with the Lake Cowal Foundation as to how PlaceStories can benefit their work.

Thanks to NLP State Coordinator, John Dalton for organising this trip and his enthusiasm for the project.
